the black sheep
The Black Sheep is a satirical newspaper founded at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in February 2004 by Atish Doshi and Derek Chin. The free paper, published weekly with a circulation of 100,000, is written, edited and distributed by students at UIUC. Currently, The Booze News is headquartered in Chicago and continues to exist under The Black Sheep. The Black Sheep is currently at many college campuses around the country and continues to grow.

I joined The Black Sheep - UIUC in the Fall 2015 during my freshman year. I was an online writer and the host of our video series, "Under My Umbrella," where I hit the streets of Champaign-Urbana to interview random strangers.
I was a Video Production and Editing Intern during the Summer of 2017. I produced skits and man on the street videos over the summer, while I also trained national writers on satire writing.

I was named The Black Sheep's first Video Production Manager in August 2017 for the UIUC site.

As a satire writer, my 100+ articles had more than 2.8 million page views as of May 2020. I can provide copies of some articles upon request.

Below are a selection of Man on the Street videos and skits that I have performed in and/or produced.
